And so it began, Women in Vision held their first conference retreat in the beautiful town of Warkworth in 2022. A gathering of inspiring female ophthalmologists and trainees, exploring a new frontier in empowerment, addressing gender discrimination issues and wellbeing in a safe and inviting atmosphere.

Moving Forward

We are holding another conference, catering to a broader audience while maintaining the intimate atmosphere and non-judgmental safe space that made the previous event successful.

 

The aim is to continue fostering personal learning and development while supporting participants. This year, optometrists and other medical professionals are invited to participate.
